*	Adapted to version 2.0 of Pool.

*	Modified the interface between 'makedist' and the preparation
	script (PREPARE).

*	None, just a code freeze for Pool 1.0. The next version
	will require Pool 2.0.

*	More than one packer callable per invocation. This
	reduces the overhead on retrieval and complex pre-
	processing if more than one archive has to be generated.

*	The external preparation script now has access to
	the options given to 'makedist' itself. A parsed version
	of DESCRIPTION is part of the environment now too.

*	Support procedures to create ANNOUNCE, LSM files.

*	Support procedures for partial automatic generation
	of urls. Requires url heads only, adds in the filenames
	by itself.
