Mark's MUd CLient, Mmucl (pronounced muckle) v1.1.5 Copyright (C) 1997-1999 Mark Patton email: mpatton@jhu.edu homepage: http://idt.net/~tmtr01/mmucl/ This is beta software working up to a stable 1.2 release. Read INSTALL for installation instructions. See CHANGES for what's new in this release. The manual is written in texinfo and is distributed in both info and html forms. Comments, ideas, and bug reports are welcome, but please take a look at the feedback section in the manual first. I need some a Mmucl icon and a larger version of the icon to put on the homepage. (My artistic talents aren't up to the task as evidenced by the current icons.) Submissions should contain the text "Mmucl", and involve mudding (mud?) and Tcl (a feather?) in some way. Mmucl is almost ready for the 1.2 release. There will just be one more 1.1.x after this release. All the features I intended to implement are finished and they seem stable. What remains to done is more work on the manual, adding a mechanism to make the examples mud independent, and minor tweaking. Problems that I will not deal with for 1.2 (and perhaps not ever): -The Tk interface does not do complete ANSI terminal emulation. It only does the colors. -In the console interface the key command is only a stub. -Mmucl ignores the telnet protocol.
